A Joyful Studio Visit: When Art Finds Its Forever Home
I love the magical moments when my artwork connects with its new owner. Recently, I welcomed a collector to my art studio to take delivery of her new painting. Despite ongoing construction as I expand into the neighboring space, she graciously navigated the transition with a wonderful spirit that matched the essence of her chosen piece - "Happy Day."

The Magic of the Rainbow Pom Pom Sofa
My rainbow pom pom sofa is an ongoing labor of love. I've crafted thousands of pom poms, and am still in the process of adding them to create this super cool piece of functional art. Everyone who visits my studio says, "This makes me feel happy!" as they sink into its cheerful embrace.
Each evening, I craft more pom poms while unwinding in front of the TV, preparing them for their eventual place in this growing installation.
"Happy Day" showcases my signature style of dynamic brushwork and vivid colors in mixed media florals.
Art That Tells Stories
During the visit, my collector noticed the "Pretty Boy" peacock dress - my award-winning piece crafted entirely from a cardboard box. I cut each feather by hand, painted them, added glitter (of course!), and stitched the feathers together. Complete with darts, buttons down the back, and a train, this piece earned the Award of Excellence, the highest honor, at its gallery exhibition, where it was brilliantly showcased by the talented drag performer Miss Amie Vanité.
