Lauren Zellner [1992 - ], now a quality control engineer at a major medical center, has long been known for her advocacy and resilience. From a young age, she defended her older brother, who has autism, against bullying, and she faced her own challenges as a gifted young mathematician in a field still often seen as male-dominated. By tenth grade, she had completed her district's entire math curriculum, including AP Calculus. During her engineering studies at Lehigh University, Zellner mentored young women facing similar barriers, empowering them to find their voice and persevere against the odds. Today, she continues to encourage women to stand up for themselves and support each other in STEM fields and beyond. The artist proudly celebrates the inspiring woman her daughter, Lauren Zellner, has become.
